Schedule a free 15 minute intro call

You don’t have to go through this alone. Let’s do this together.

I offer a free 15-minute initial phone consultation to help you decide if Tulipa Therapy is a good fit for you.

Choosing the right therapist is important for your personal growth and healing journey. The connection you build with them is the key to a successful therapeutic relationship, affecting how well it all works. Take your time to find a therapist who fits well with you, understands your needs, and makes you feel comfortable. This way, you can create a trusting relationship that supports you in reaching the positive changes you desire.

Ready to feel like you got this?

I believe therapy should be simple.

Here’s how it works!

1. Schedule a Free Intro Call

You and I will have a 15-minute intro session to talk about your needs and what you’re looking for in therapy. This is a chance to ask any questions you have and find out if working together could be a good fit.

If we are a good fit and you feel ready to get started, we’ll schedule an initial intake session. I’ll email you the necessary paperwork to review and complete before our first session.

2. Show up for your first appointment

Next, we’ll meet for an intake session.

This session is focused on information gathering and getting to know each other. We’ll explore where you are and where you want to be. You’ll get to know me and my approach to therapy.

3. Keep showing up for yourself

We’ll meet together for 50-minute ongoing sessions to work towards your goals.

Hi, I’m Andrea - and I’m so happy you’re here…

I know firsthand how vulnerable it feels to seek therapy and share what’s really going on in your life below the surface. And I also know how powerful it can be for someone to receive your story and help you sort out the pieces so you don’t have to do it alone.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a mom to 2 teenagers. I am passionate about this work because I understand the challenges and pressures that women face. We wear so many hats – from caregivers to professionals, partners to friends – that it's easy to lose sight of our own needs. I've been there, feeling like I'm walking a tightrope, trying to balance everyone else's needs while neglecting my own.

But here's the thing – you're not alone, and there is a way out of this cycle. Together, we'll work to reduce your stress, rediscover joy in the everyday moments, and rebuild your confidence so you can start living the life you've always dreamed about.

 FAQs

  • Therapy is a personalized process, and it can take different amounts of time for each person. There are many things that can influence how long therapy lasts, such as how complex the issues are, how much progress you make, and how often we meet. Some individuals may find that a few sessions are enough to help them out and others choose to continue more long-term and address additional items as they come up.

It's really up to you—there's no right or wrong way. We'll work together to create a plan that's right for you and check in regularly to make sure you're getting the most out of your therapy. I am here to support you whether your journey is brief or ongoing.

  • Please don't let my rate stop you from reaching out! If we are not able to come up with an arrangement, in most cases I can connect you with other therapists who might be a better fit for your budget. Let's find a solution that works for you.

  • While therapy and coaching share the goal of enhancing your well-being and personal growth, they serve different purposes. Therapy focuses on addressing past and present issues impacting your mental health, delving into deep emotional processes for understanding and healing. On the other hand, coaching is geared towards identifying and attaining your future goals, involving transformative shifts in mindset and decision-making. It's important to note that coaching isn't a substitute for mental health treatment but can complement therapy you might already be receiving.

  • Therapy and coaching are two separate services. I don't provide coaching to therapy clients, and vice versa, which helps me to maintain clear boundaries. If you're unsure which option suits you best, feel free to book a free 15-minute consultation with me and we can discuss your needs and find the right fit together.
